GDA2018 Seminar - Hong Kong
<< Social Design: A Blue Ocean for Designers? >>
The role of commercial designer is often considered a product creator or promoter for the consumer society, yet the emerging field of "social design" has opened up the dimension of creativity that challenges the stereotype of "commercial design": using design thinking as their weapons, they address social issues and improve the quality of communications for public or non-governmental organisations. This seminar invites designers and non-governmental organisations to share their experiences from various perspectives: Will this "blue ocean" market, awaiting designers to dive into, be the new path for designers in the future? This is a subject worthy of our discussion.
